About Eisbock
Eisbocks range from deep copper to dark brown in color. In true Bock style, these lagers are dominated by clean and rich malt flavors in both aroma and flavor. The malt aroma of an Eisbock will be intense, and the scent of alcohol will almost certainly be noticeable. The body of these beers will be sweet with flavors of toasted malt, chocolate and caramel. As in the aroma, the presence of alcohol may be noticeable. Hop bitterness will be moderate but should be overshadowed by these sweet malt flavors. Beers of this style will be very full in body, low in carbonation and sweet in finish.
