We respect the privacy of our users. We want to be totally transparent about the information we collect and how we use it.
For each registered user, we collect Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") and Non-Personally Identifiable Information ("Non-PII") to facilitate the operation of the Pintley Service.
Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual. Examples of PII that Pintley collects include a person's first and last name, date of birth, zip code, location information, and email address. We use this information to customize the content and/or layout of the Pintley Service for each individual visitor and to contact users regarding their account. When a registered user provides information to us, that information may be sent to servers located in the United States and other countries around the world.
Non-personally identifiable information refers to information that, by itself, cannot be tracked to a specific individual. Pintley logs non-personally-identifiable information including gender, IP address, referring/exit pages, date/time stamp, aggregate user data, anonymous location information, browser or device type, from registered users and unregistered visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the Pintley Service, track usage, and improve the Pintley Service. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties for commercial purposes or to provide more relevant services and advertisements to registered users.
Unregistered users may use the portions of the Pintley site that do not require registration. Pintley may store the IP addresses of these users for security and monitoring purposes.
Registered users of Pintley can invite friends to view content on Pintley by sending e-mails via our automated system. Pintley will store the e-mail addresses that registered users provide. Pintley does not sell these e-mail addresses or use them to send any other communication.
From time to time, a company with which Pintley has a relationship may sponsor a promotion or contest using Pintley. Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. In those instances, Pintley may transfer a user's personal information to that company. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

Users may also choose to link their Twitter, Facebook, and/or Foursquare accounts, and to allow Pintley to post messages to such accounts on the user's behalf. Such messages my include both Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
