About Radler/Shandy

Radler and Shandy are often synonomous names for a mixture of a beer and a citrus-flavored beverage. Radler is a German equivalent to the British Shandy, specifically a beer mixed with carbonated lemonade. The term shandy refers to a beer mixed with ginger ale but may also be used to denote a beer mixed with carbonated lemonade or other citrus-flavored sodas. Shandies will be straw to gold in color with fruity or citrusy aroma. They are sweet in flavor, light-bodied, crisp and refreshing. The taste of beer is sometimes imperceptible.
