About this Brewery
McMenamins currently has 24 breweries, with the newest (and smallest), The Spar in Olympia, WA. Each year, our breweries collectively produce more than 200 new and unusual recipes. Since our first brew at the Hillsdale Brewery & Public House in 1985, McMenamins has handcrafted more than 25,000 different batches of beer. In 2007 alone, we brewed more than 48,600 kegs of beer — an astounding 6 million pints.
Due to the nature of handcrafting, it's safe to say that no two McMenamins batches are identical. Science and technology provide the backbone for our craft, but it is the unique qualities of each brew house, and the individual brewer's ale-crafting style, that ensures you will enjoy liquid refreshments that are truly special and made with every care for the environment.
