About this Brewery
The Great Northern Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Whitefish, Montana and the makers of award-winning Black Star Beer. Founded by Minott Wessinger, the great-great grandson of Henry Weinhard, the brewery was built for the purpose of brewing Black Star Double Hopped Golden Lager. The Great Northern Brewery has since grown, currently offering 16 of the finest quality ales and lagers in a variety of year-round and seasonal styles.
