good stuff
One of the best. Hoppy and sweet. Very drinkable. Hard to find.
Clean, not too heavy. I could have more than one. Sometimes these beers are too much for me
My.frist time having nugget nector , and I have to say its pretty damn good , nice aroma , frist sip was impressed, I'm lucky the brewery is only 50 min from my place , just think.i might take a trip.
Meh that is what comes to mind for me. it's a good beer but it's rating of 4.3 is way to high. I have had the unicorns ' pliney, pig, sculpin, hopslam, zombie dust etc) but this is not in that league. Buy it if you come across it but don't expect next level stuff.
This is probably my favorite beer. I look forward to this beer coming out each year. Flies off the shelf and for good reasons, because its great!
A wonderful smell of hops upfront, with a slight sweetness of fruit underlying. The first sip tastes magnificently hoppy with a sweetness of an apricot. So easy to drink, crisp hoppy and refreshing.

Hops hops and hops and such a subtle sweetness....
Nugget nectar is a good hoppy beer. Awesome choice of hops too, off the beaten hop path. Good hop nose and a hoppy taste without being too far in that direction. Not my favorite of this style but good enough to warrant a 4.
So much flavor! Lots of hop presence, Orange, pineapple, and grapefruit with just the right dash of sweet candied caramelly malt. A fantastic brew with a juicy palate
One of my all-time favorite beers and probably my favorite seasonal. Pours a dark orange with perfect clarity. Nice dense head that bursts hop aroma with hints of citrusy fruits like tangerine, grapefruit, maybe pineapple. Head falls to a right ring that leaves nice lacing on the glass. Taste is right up front juicy citrus hops. Like the sweetness of a tangerine and the bitterness of a grapefruit. Very hoppy. Almost fits into the Double IPA category but the malt comes in to balance it out and remind you it is indeed an Imperial Amber Ale. The distinct tangerine flavor makes this beer very unique. Nothing like any other beer of this caliber. Drinkability is rather high for the style but the hop oils start to build up on the palate. My only gripe is the price is a bit high and the high demand for it makes it hard to find. Wish it was a year-round offering, but then again that might make it not as special. Great stuff from a great brewery.
in your face hop quality, but balanced and doesn't linger.
Appearance: Poured into a pint glass. It pours a nice gold/orange color with a modest white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma: I mostly picked up on pine and floral notes with a bit of citrus (possibly grapefruit?). Taste: HUGE hop presence in this. There is tons of bitterness to go around with a large portion of piny hops. I also noticed a bit of grapefruit with a sweet/candy-like finish. Mouthfeel: Crisp, moderate carbonation, and medium to light body. Overall: This is by far the best Amber out. I know a lot of people compare this to Maine Beer Company's Zoe due to the hoppiness, but this is miles ahead.
Very light, white head, with notes of hops, hops, and more hops. Nice copper body, with a nice and balanced hop taste.
Beautiful copper color with thick off-white head. Nice lacing. Heady aroma full of hops, but not citrusy. Extremely well balanced. Hoppy and a little bitter, but not overwhelming. Truly excellent
Pours a brilliantly clear copper color with a thick layer of white head. Head erodes in patches leaving a Swiss cheese-like foam for the whole pint. Aroma of potent grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, and caramel and slightly toasty malt. Taste mirrors aroma, with a good firm bitterness that's well balanced with the maltiness and hop flavors. Minimal caramel sweetness to keep balance, still fairly dry. Medium bodied with the perfect amount of carbonation. This beer really lives up to its reputation. Fantastic.
