The original. The best. Although Sam Adams have a wide range of very good brews, this is the quintessential. Nice dark amber color. Sweet smell. A very good beer.

Although it can vary from year to year, this by and far a staple fall seasonal. Wonderful drink.

My favorite fall beer, period. I always look forward to fall for football and this beer. I hoard it and try to make it last until Christmas, but it never does.

Carmel flavor, dark robust flavor is almost overpowering. If you let the beer linger on your tongue, you taste spices. It's a smooth, pleasant beer-- goes down easily. It's definitely one of the best of the Sam Adams line, but not necessarily worth freaking out about.

Wait all year for this beer. Pours a clear brown body with full head. Malt takes a front row backed by a light bittering charge. The Munich malt leaves a smooth mouth feel that cleans off the pallet quickly only making you want more.

Thy did it again. Sam Adams made just what was on the label. This beer has all of the Bavarian hoppiness you'd expect with a nice red-leaning malt bill.

A great American interpretation of the German style. A little bit sweeter than its German counterparts, but goes down smooth. A good session beer. My favorite American Oktoberfest.
