Really nice nutty taste. Great body and good carbonation.

Very nice light malty flavored ale Very slight hops. No lace to speak of, very nice and drinkable
Very nice - love the name. Enjoyed after finding at a gas station in the Badlands.
Pours a very clear reddish brown with relatively small but well lasting tan head. Malty to the nose, caramel, toffee, chocolate. Some bitterness up front and some mild earthy/spicy hop character, followed by strong darker malt character. Lots of toffee, caramel, a little chocolate, and some sublte cherry-like fruity esters. Medium-full bodied, perhaps a little overcarbonated, with a little bit of a carbonic bite that wasn't expected. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel that goes down easily. Very drinkable. Not sure if it's worth all the hype it gets, but a very tasty and well balanced brown ale.
For such a strong body up front. It almost washes itself away for an after taste of pretty much nothing - different
Strong
Another of my go-to browns. Two thumbs up.
Smooth Brown Ale. For those exploring darker beers this is a nice step up from Amber Bach. Bottle cap inscription reads " 'Zat yer rig? " - ah, Montana humor!
Mellow hop flavor with a little too much maltiiness. Still good just not great
Rich, almost earthy malt body with just enough hop to keep it refreshing and interesting...Finally was able to try this on NYE in Chicago, and it lived up to the hype I had seen. I wish Big Sky was available in NC, so I could drink this all the time...hopefully sooner rather than later.
Chocolaty aroma, dark brown in color, chocolate/coffee flavor. Sweet on the tongue, no lingering flavor.
Easy drinking and smooth beer. The whole 12 pack has been consistent. Has a malty flavor without much of a hops kick of any sort. Not bad but not real distinct. Kinda just blends in with a lot of other craft beer. Has a nice appearance with an okay head and some lacing. The scent is not very strong. Again, just a subtle dark ale that does not really offend or stand out. I like it enough but will not be clamoring for it.
good brown
Pours a medium brown with a finger of white head. Nose is a moderate roasted grain. Body is a moderate malty and roasted grain body. I'm normally a big fan of brown ales but not too impressed with this one. Finishes more acidic than I would like it.
I like it.
I really can't get the aroma of this beer. The taste is toasty but has a clean finish. It doesn't really stand out to me. Very drinkable though.
