Magic Hat Blind Faith

Pretty orange-amber beer with no head or lacing to speak of. Hits the tongue smooth, but comes to a grinding halt with hops that don't add any smoothness. It almost feels as if the hops were just added rather than carefully planned. Eh...

Pretty straightforward but hard to put down.

Foamy white head. Can't get many notes right now since I have a cold. Dark amber color. This beer, however, didn't really wow me. Bland across the board, if you will. I'll definitely give it another try when sense of smell isn't off.

Not an over the top IPA. Well balanced and good aroma and poured a golden shade. Approx 6% ABV and under 40IBU make Blind Faith an easy drinking IPA with Cascade hops. Too sweet / maltie vs hoppie for an IPA.

Kind of reminds me of an English style ale with a higher ABV and mostly floral and cascade hops.

The aroma and taste were not overpowering yet very evident. This is one of the more balanced IPA's I have had.

Aroma is hop dominant but with hints of English malt aroma as well. I usually like IPAs a bit more hoppy, but the biscuit character works well in this one. Initial taste is citrusy, but then the biscuity malt finishes.

Big beer. Good finisher. Enjoy as a night cap

I'm not usually a fan of IPAs because I don't enjoy overly bitter/hoppy beers, however at only 35 IBUs this is an exception. The beer begins smooth with a slight hint of malt and finishes with enough hops that you know you've had an IPA.

I'm totally changing my mind on this, I previous said I hated it, but DAMN now that I've drank some more IPA's I'm kind of enjoying it!

Surprised by it's dark color for an IPA. Good on the palate and not a bad after-taste.

Light firm crisp body, good spice hop, smooth malt in the background, good balance of hops and malt in the finish.

My favorite local IPA. Has a great hop profile and just an all around great brew. This is definitely my favorite beer to session, has a low enough ABV to not get you totally smashed. And a low enough IBU level to not destroy your taste buds. All around great brew.
