Definitely not as good as the nitro
Very good beer for a rich Italian dish and/or Chicago style deep dish. The full body and toasty malted coffee flavor goes well with the tang and tomato acidity in pasta sauce. Finished a bit more dry than I hoped, but overall the flavor profile was great. Most interesting was how the sweetness smoothly transitioned to the coffee flavor, which equally transitioned smoothly to a mild hop bitterness. Very well defined flavor experience.
Sweet with coffee and chocolate. This was my first stout to try and is still probably my favorite!
The creamy smooth drink-ability and the dark roasted taste make this brew very easy to love
Really like the smooth, creamy, tasteful flavor
Super smooth and has the perfect coffee and malt flavors
A perfect example of a milk stout. Toasty and roasty in the aroma and initially in the mouthfeel, but the sweet chocolate flavor slides in as you swallow. Damn good beer. Do not pass this up if you get the chance to have one!
Pours well and very smooth to drink. A great beer all by itself if you like slight coffee, chocolatey undertones.
Terrific milk stout. Creamy and drinkable.
Best on draught! Might be my favorite milk stout.
Dark and creamy. Sweet enough with a great coffee taste. Very nice!
The color and texture save this beer. It's their flagship, and it's great that you can find it quite frequently, but I just appreciate more complexity in my stouts.
Easily one of my favorite stouts.
A nice, full bodied stout with a great sweetness. This is the perfect cold weather beer.
Goes great with atwater's java porter! Beautiful milky creamy chocolatey goodness. Light on the palate
Smooth and creamy, not too sweet, great stout character.
Best milk stout ive ever had, even better than lancaster
Have the nitrogen pour smooth and creamy
my newest favorite beer!
A wonderful crafted stout. Being left handed, the name drew me in. Easily in my too three favorite stouts of all, I was beyond happy with it. Try one!
