Excellent lager. I'm not crazy about sulfur taste in lagers. So kind of hesitant. Excellent taste. Very good aroma.

Beware! These 11oz stubby bottles go down fast! This all-malt, pre-prohibition style lager will take you back to the roots of brewing in America. It's golden color and crystal clarity combine with a smooth, almost sweet taste that keeps this little beer enticing to the very last sip. The cozy 11oz bottles add a charming, nostalgic character that almost makes up for the missing 12th oz.

Light golden larger taste but with a soft sweet forward and then a light yeast floral and mellow bitter hops. Pretty smooth and definitely a session drinking beer!

Pours a clean golden yellow with a finger of white head. Low retention and carbonation. Thin but strong lacing. Nose is a standard grain common to American light lagers. Probably slightly smoother and creamier than one of the Big Three, but not huge on taste. Fairly low bitterness. High drinkability, easy on the palate.

this had a rather bready sort of aroma to it compared to the more fruity and sweet aroma of some other similar lagers. The taste followed the smell more or less. I felt this was a fairly balanced lager, it finishes with a slight hoppy bitterness.

Good thirst quencher. Good flavor but not quite enough of it to earn a five star.

Decent tasting nothing special; just your average tasting lager. I like the bottle shape though, because it nicely fits in your palm, and the rock paper scissors cap that's neat.

Highly drinkable, great session beer - only complaint is sweet finish, can get to be a little too much after a couple.
