Taste good. As it says in its name you can tell the hops are fresh.
Pours a deep copper color with white head. Room is a little bit grassy and hops and a little malt. Taste is a little bit hoppy but really just kind of the standard pale ale. I expected more. It's good but nothing spectacular.
Enjoyed 46 days before "best by" date. Poured center from bomber into a snifter. Pale copper color with a finger and a half of egg shell white head of mixed size bubbles. A small cone of carbonation emerging from the center, but still has thick retention. Thick sticky lacing. Green hop aroma with a touch of pineapple. Crisp light malt body with dry white crackers. Easy lemon finish with pine and some grapefruit. Straightforward flavor profile. Dry zippy citrus mouthfeel with the bitterness hanging on after drinking. $7.99 a bomber is a good value. Light and easy to drink, although a little too dry for my personal tastes.
10/22/14 at Golden Crust Taproom. 6.1% ABV. 55 IBU. Draft drawn into a nonic pint. Drew a clear, still, medium amber with golden-orange highlights. Arrived with a dense, creamy, 1/2-finger, off-white head that settled slowly to a skinny ring. Left broken curtains of lingering lace. Rather bland nose of dank, grassy hops, faint citrus (grapefruit and tangerine) and toast. Taste of pine, subtle mint, damp earth, leaves, crusty bread, roasted, grainy malts and a kiss of caramel late. Undoubtably fresh! Medium body; silky mouthfeel.
Great hop aroma and flavor, beautiful color. Another knockout by great divide
Well I'm headin down a southern trail I'm goin hop huntin
Grassy hops. Smells like cucumber. Very we'll balanced. Not too bitter very good.
Tastes bitter, grassy and earthy. It was just average though. Nothing made it stand out from the other pale ales.
Extremely fresh and hoppy
I can't get enough of the earthiness with these fresh hopped ales.
This is a fantastic beer. The aroma, the taste, the ability to drink bottle after bottle...the downside is I've only ever found it in the larger 20 or 22oz bottles. I have been unable to find this beer in a 6 pack. As a result its fairly pricey by the oz so it only gets a 3 on the value score. But man it is GOOD.
A 3.5. Nice. Somewhat unusual. Tame hops. Excellent carbonation/bitterness levels. The finish is where this beer really shines. If you pay attention to the ebbing sip as it moves all the way back, there are very nice fruit/allspice notes to be enjoyed.
Grassy, piney taste. Bitterness sticks with you through the finish.
It's pretty good, but I really don't think they've got their ipa down quite yet. Wasn't impressed, but was satisfied
Great hop aroma and flavor without the bitterness.
great aroma and fresh hop taste
A crisp, refreshing beer. A definite winner. Love the hoppiness. They were out of it on tap when we were there but luckily we scored a bottle out of the cooler. Can't wait until we get back to the Great Divide to try more of their tasty brews!
Hop flavor and aroma hits on the first sip and the aftertaste. Very tasty.
Love the strong fresh hop aroma and intense flavor
