Drink a dozen!
One of the most drinkable ipa's on the market. Well balanced, smooth finish and priced for everyday consumption.
This is one of my go to six packs for an IPA. I love dogfish head. It's a tasty IPA, without being too overpowering. I recommend this to friends who are just getting started with hoppy beers to test the water a bit. Very drinkable.
Smooth but not bitter enough for me. Missing that deep pine and citrus. I'm not sure what the continually hopping means but not hoppy enough. Mellow and very easy going IPA without a lot of complexity.
Wow I can't even describe how incredible this tastes. I'm not a huge fan of IPA's because of their strong aftertastes, but this one is definitely a must try. Great starter IPA if you want to expand your palate.
The beer pours a translucent tawny-gold with a one finger head that dissipates to a collar of foam. The nose is hop heavy with clean citrus tones, piney and herbal notes, and almost a honey sweetness. Initially, the beer hits sweet with lightly toasted bread, until the hops kick in with power. Light, refreshing lemon, earthen and pine tone, light pepper spiciness and a wonderfully clean finish. The finish is long with bitter greens and slight pepper spice. The moderate carbonation accentuates this is a beer to be sipped, even the body leans towards being heavy. With such a clean finish, I want to pair this beer with some great Indian food (keep the spice to a minimum) or some very potent Italian (cream sauce anyone?).
DF 60 is good but I think most of us have had better daily IPAs.
Great beer from a great brewer. Good IPA even for those who don't like IPAs
A good beer for anyone who likes a bit of a bitter taste
Classic IPA- have on tap in home keg and is always reliable. Always go to beer if you cannot decide.
Smells awesome! Taste does not match. A couple of sips and really enjoying
When I tasted this beer, I expected to be throat slammed with hops! But what was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and balanced it was. I later discovered they use Simcoe and Amarillo hops which explained citrus like flavor. Outstanding beer!
60 minute IPA has become a go-to summer drink in place of bland pilsner beers. This has superb drinkability without overpowering you with hops bitterness. The floral notes are well balanced and superb. A very mild aftertaste leaves your mouth wanting more.
I definitely feel the 90 minute is a better choice if available.
A delightful IPA. Perfect for all times and all occasions.
Great IPA. I was really into the 60 minute 4/5 years ago. Still enjoy it but I don't seek it out anymore.
This is a good IPA but the 90 minute is better.
A bit of a piney aftertaste but one of the best IPAs I've ever had. A little on the pricy side, though.
This is my current go to IPA. Great balanced flavor and easy to drink.
Had one of these again yesterday after a 6 month break. Maybe it was me, but I just didn't get blown away. Not as sharp a hop bitterness as other IPA's and kind of a flavor that just didn't agree with me yesterday. Priced at the high end of the range to boot.
