Relatively mild for an IPA but so balanced and delicious
My go to IPA. Copper color with some red hues. Good head. Strong piney and citrus aroma. Tastes like it smells. Good mouthfeel.
On tap. Pours a copper color with moderate foamy head. Aromas of warm malts and pine. Flavours of pine, light citrus, and light resin. A bit light but quaffable. Lingering bitter finish
Good IPA. Glad they sell dogfish Head where I live. This is an easy-drinking beer. The initial hop bite is always pleasant. And then a smooth taste of floral pine ensues. Tastiest burp I can remember. 4/5, good to experience the hype of this beer. Hope 90 minute is truly special.
Love this beer. But it when I see it.
This beer sets the standard for what a basic drinkable IPA should be. Great taste, tons of aroma, and satisfyingly refreshing! You'll never find yourself disappointed with this beer, unless of course you can only find one to drink.
Best middle road IPA around.
Deep, funky, delicious IPA. But not as good as the 90.
Drink a dozen!
One of the most drinkable ipa's on the market. Well balanced, smooth finish and priced for everyday consumption.
This is one of my go to six packs for an IPA. I love dogfish head. It's a tasty IPA, without being too overpowering. I recommend this to friends who are just getting started with hoppy beers to test the water a bit. Very drinkable.
Smooth but not bitter enough for me. Missing that deep pine and citrus. I'm not sure what the continually hopping means but not hoppy enough. Mellow and very easy going IPA without a lot of complexity.
Wow I can't even describe how incredible this tastes. I'm not a huge fan of IPA's because of their strong aftertastes, but this one is definitely a must try. Great starter IPA if you want to expand your palate.
The beer pours a translucent tawny-gold with a one finger head that dissipates to a collar of foam. The nose is hop heavy with clean citrus tones, piney and herbal notes, and almost a honey sweetness. Initially, the beer hits sweet with lightly toasted bread, until the hops kick in with power. Light, refreshing lemon, earthen and pine tone, light pepper spiciness and a wonderfully clean finish. The finish is long with bitter greens and slight pepper spice. The moderate carbonation accentuates this is a beer to be sipped, even the body leans towards being heavy. With such a clean finish, I want to pair this beer with some great Indian food (keep the spice to a minimum) or some very potent Italian (cream sauce anyone?).
DF 60 is good but I think most of us have had better daily IPAs.
Great beer from a great brewer. Good IPA even for those who don't like IPAs
A good beer for anyone who likes a bit of a bitter taste
Classic IPA- have on tap in home keg and is always reliable. Always go to beer if you cannot decide.
Smells awesome! Taste does not match. A couple of sips and really enjoying
When I tasted this beer, I expected to be throat slammed with hops! But what was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and balanced it was. I later discovered they use Simcoe and Amarillo hops which explained citrus like flavor. Outstanding beer!
