Creamy, smooth, goes down like water. It's Boddingtons
Cream of Manchester definately best describes this ale. Rich head creamy textured body.
Tastes like a cream ale. Has a smooth character Malty backbone
Pours a clear golden yellow color with a tight creamy white head like a Guiness. Very slight visual carbonation after settling. A subtle sweet aroma dominates. It has a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Nice inoffensive sweet malt flavour, with a slightly dry bitter finish.
It was ok, look and head really had me anticipating something amazing but was dissapointed with taste. Nice creamy head but tasted almost watered down. a little pricey for something that tasted almost lke a cheap amrican lager.
The head when you pour it is very much like Guinness. Taste wise, it taste like generic beer. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it either.
beautiful top, creamy and just the right amount of bitter. cant help but to start off the pint with a few gulps.
This is my favorite all around beer. The flavor is sometimes inconsistent, but that is why I love it. I will always search for the perfect Boddingtons like the one I had for very first time. The aroma is very faint, but sweet, the bigger the head the creamier the flavor (I'm not saying shake it up before you pour it, but a little agitation might help), the texture is very smooth, almost carbonation-less, with a dry finish. On an average day it tastes just like it looks, golden, with a copper aftertaste. On a perfect day it tastes like golden honey, like I'm sure they intended it to. Best after a hard days work during Spring and Summer.
Severed on tap a crystal clear amber with a one inch silky cream head. The flavors were dull and uninspiring with a metallic flavor that dominated the weak flavors from the beer. I will definitely not order this one again.
Creamy is the best way to describe this Pub Ale. They use the same tap as that Irish Stout.
One of the best, light-bodied beers I have had. Incredibly smooth and creamy, this makes a refreshing party beer. I am a huge fan, plus I was drinking this as the New York Football Giants once again reached glory in the Superbowl. A great, go to beer!
For an import this it's one of the better UK beers. Nice creamy head and full body.
Listen, it's not like this beer isn't good. It's really creamy, and the widget inside means you could easily make a 6 inch head. It's smooth, very sweet, and compliments a football game very well.
I prefer Guiness or Murphy's to this beer, but it's not bad.
A good, easy drinking, sessions beer. I've had most of these off tap on nitrogen. It pours a golden amber with a thick, creamy head. It has a nice malty aroma with a hint of bitter. The taste is malty with a hint of hops. It's well balanced and goes with pretty much everything or good just by itself. It's not overwhelming in flavor, but has good balance and a smooth finish.
Smooth taste, color, aroma. Recommend Tap over the Can. Is a bit filling if taken with food. Overall, probably the best all around beer I've ever had.
Smooth taste, great finish, great appearance, and of course smooth head!
On special at local pub. Has a fruity overtone akin to a pear cider. Too sweet, no bitter, no balls. Not my favorite.
really smooth full body taste. creamy like a Guinness with a nice pale amber color. great beer!
A good nitro beer when you just don't feel like a Guinness. A Pub favorite.
