About BitchLöden Wheat Lager
Inspired by the term “Bitchload” which is, according to the “Urban Dictionary”: “a whole frickin lot of stuff, not commonly used”. We used a “whole frickin lot” of wheat malt (65%) & Indian Neelam mangoes and a wee little Indian spice (Garam Masala) along with a wee bit of lemongrass for this refreshing summer wheat beer. Our wheat lager finishes dry with no phenolics from a typical wheat yeast. Fermented with a Danish lager yeast. A different twist on a summer beer.
