Looks like the 22 I had wasn't handle well--didn't come off as a Red at all. A bit stale too.

It's a pretty tasty red. It's nicely hopped fairly well-balanced wish it had more head.

Looks better poured in the glass than it tastes. Overly bitter, too hoppy. There are much better reds out there.

A solid red beer from the team at Ninkasi. Would love to visit the brewpub up in Oregon some day. Not to hoppy. A nice full taste to this beer.

First really experienced this beer with my girl on her 31 birthday in Pioneer Square in P-town. Ninkasi was having a special event and we happened to stumble upon it. She really enjoyed it and I was once again reminded that I had an awesome, beer loving girlfriend.

Well balanced amber. Great hop compliment to the malty finish.

Pour looks good, nice creamy head. Aroma was... interesting. Sharp tones, muddled by malt and earthier middle. First mouthful is harsh, but deepens nicely and becomes quite drinkable. Well suited to cooler overcast day in Seattle

Very nice malt flavor with a nice hint of chocolate malt on the finish. Adds just a touch of roasty flavor.

Aggressively bitter, over hopped, out of balance, confused, lightly roasted with little to no noticeable malt profile. Honestly some of the worst red I have ever had.

Poured into an English pint glass. Looks amazing. Deep cherry red when held to the light. Big light tan head that dissipates into a cap of spotty foam. Good lacing. Smells like fresh hops and sweet malt, caramel, the slightest bit of roasted malt. Tastes the same, but there's something about this one that keeps me from putting the glass down. The rich sweetness of the malt balances well with the hoppy bite. Hop bitterness lingers for a bit. Has a warming quality to it. Goes well with this cool autumn night. Medium bodied, fairly light on the tongue, creamy, super drinkable. Paired well with Sharp Tillamook cheddar.
