AleSmith Nautical Nut Brown

My favorite brown beer. So flavorful.

A crisp clean nutty start, with a roasted deep nut flavor mixed finish with crisp smooth flavors traditional to stouts. High alcohol with a crisp finish!!!!

What a great beer has a strong hint of coffee reminds me of a very mild crisp porter.

Not at all what I expected. Flat with no flavor.

Tried this on tap in San Diego, Alesmith's home. Looked dark brown, almost like a porter. It smelled of caramel, toffee and tobacco, with hints of leather. Flavor was toffee at first, more hazelnut as it warmed. A great pairing with creme brulee for dessert!

Light flavor, not very nutty. Its a mild nut ale, with good drinkability. Overall, I liked it.

I've only had this beer once. It was a pretty good nut brown, not my favorite, but tasty. It was lighter than some others that I've tried, and not quite as nutty.
