Appearance: Cloudy. Nice colour. Aroma: Subdued. Mainly malt character with some herbal notes. Flavour: Very interesting. It has a background caramel flavour, but it's not sweet or cloying. Very difficult to describe. This beer is really easy to drink, but still flavourful- certainly a well made amber ale. The hops are present but not overwhelming as they provide a spiciness that really holds the malt up well. Mouthfeel: Good. Overall: One thing that gets me to really credit a brewery is when they get an ordinary or common style and does it so well that it forces the drinker to reevaluate their thoughts about said style. BrewDog do this all the time and I'm always amazed by what they produce. 5AM Saint is not mind blowing like some of their other beers (Paradox Isle of Islay for instance), but instead is so perfect an example of its style while being fresh enough to be a distinct and interesting product. A great beer.

Dark rich amber in color. Very sweet smell with Carmel after notes. Very easy to drink with just a hint of hops & not sweet at all like the smell would lead you to believe. Great beer & would be even better if it were a little cheaper.

Great rich caramel, with a bit of a bitter bite. Just what you want in a red ale. In fact this is a perfect red, but red's are not typically my thing.

Bebida na pressão Biermarkt 20/07/11 Mais amarga que demais amber. Lupulos evidentes no aroma e sabor. Presença de aromas florais, mas em menores proporções ao comparar com demais amber ale. Me pareceu quase uma IPA

Not terrible but not what I was expecting from an amber. Lots of hop bitter taste.

This beer has a hop punch at the beginning but doesn't ever seem to catch it's balance with the malt sweetness. Not a terrible beer, but not something I would actively seek out either.

One of my favourite Brewdog beers, ruby red in colour, MASSIVE aroma... Loads of dry hopping in this. The taste just blows you away for a 5% beer, all sorts of tropical fruits from the nelson sauvin, also a nice bitter note. But very drinkable and cheap to buy, excellent!

Amber/metalic hops slap initially, followed by a clean, light body and ending with a delicious dry aftertaste. Incredibly tasty for such a low ABV. After Stone Levitation and Rogue Santa's Private Reserve, one of the tastier >%6 ABV.
